The Journey

So I'm always traveling during the winter and I have my camera all the time, I take all these pictures while I'm actually traveling(flying, driving, whatever) and then I never end up using them for anything. Anyways, I like a lot of them so I decided to post some up for this week.

The first shots are all from the plane, taking pictures through the window when your flying during the day can be a little boring, I tried to put a fresh perspective on this first shot, like it? Once the sun sets and your flying around a city things get a whole lot more interesting. I have some ideas for slow shutter aerial shots that I tried but there was too much turbulence so maybe some other time I can get it to work.

We spend a lot of time in the airport and its surprising how much fun you can have in an airport with some friends and a couple hours of lay over:

I really like aerial shots. Things that seem so mundane and random, from the air look so different. You should look at the work of Vincent Laforet, at least his work from a couple of years ago- he now is doing a lot of video with the Canon 5D Mark II. He shot quite a bit of aerial stuff and did an amazing job of it. For the airport shots, watch your exposure. Really like the images, great images to have, but watch the exposure, some are a bit hot.
